In terms of the media, for example, I compare the media coverage of relatively large (in terms of the death toll) conflicts (such as the Democratic Republic of Congo) and relatively small conflicts (such as Israel-Palestine), and try to learn more about why certain large conflicts are ignored, while other smaller conflicts are able to attract the media spotlight.
